FROG GUARD - SKIN SHIELD

1. What is Frog Guard™ ?

Frog Guard is a preventative option that
helps protect your skin, not just address
irritation after it occurs. It helps
shield the outermost layer of your skin
from ongoing friction and exposure, while forming its own breathable, protective layer on the skin surface, using our unique wax blend.

Frog Guard does NOT moisturize
or heal, it simply protects. Made with 100% all-natural ingredients. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any disease.

2. How is it different from a soap or lotion?

  • Soap is a cleanser you rinse off; Frog Guard stays on.
  • Lotions/creams are water-based and often come in a pump; Frog Guard is an anhydrous semi solid wax balm, no mess, no spill.

3. Who is Frog Guard designed for?

Anyone whose skin takes a beating from friction, chafing, or general exposure. Nurses, martial artists, runners, package handlers, delivery drivers, outdoor enthusiasts, teachers, manicurists, gardeners, or people who want a simple way to keep their skin feeling healthy and protected.

4. Can it be used daily?

Yes. It’s formulated for everyday use. As with any new product, do a small patch test first. Avoid face and sensitive skin.

5. What is the pH of the Frog Guard body butter?

Because the butter is water-free, it doesn’t have a true pH until it mixes with your skin’s moisture. In standardized slurry tests it falls in the skin-friendly range of about 5.5 – 6.5.

6. How do I apply it?

  1. Start with clean, dry skin.
  2. Rubs a small amount in hand. Warming it with your skin makes application easier.
  3. Apply a thin, even layer over areas that constantly experience friction and chaffing.
  4. Allow up to 3 minutes for the layer to absorb and dry before dressing.
  5. Do not take orally.
  6. Always patch test on a small area before first use.
  7. Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient in Frog Guard.

7. Is Frog Guard safe for sensitive skin?

We’ve formulated it with gentle, natural ingredients like shea butter and colloidal oatmeal, which can be soothing for most skin types. However, our EO Blend variant contains essential oils (tea tree & eucalyptus), we recommend patch testing if you have sensitive or allergy-prone skin.

8. How often and when should I use it?

Apply daily on clean, dry skin. You may also reapply after washing.

9. Can I use it on my body?

Yes. Gently spread a very thin layer avoid using on the face, eye area, lips, and any broken skin or delicate skin. Always patch test before first use.

10. Will it prevent ringworm and other issues?

Frog Guard helps keep skin dry and forms a surface environment that is less welcoming to the fungi and bacteria commonly found on gym mats, doorknobs, packages, and on other people's hands. However, it has not been evaluated or approved by the FDA for disease prevention. Good hygiene and prompt medical care remain essential for keeping skin healthy.

11. Is it safe for animals?

Frog Guard is not intended for use on animals.

12. Why does my Frog Guard have little bumps on the surface?

Frog Guard is made with natural waxes, butters, and oils that can occasionally form small bumps or crystals on the surface. This is called fat bloom or wax beading, and it happens when the product experiences natural temperature shifts during shipping, storage, or cooling. These bumps are cosmetic only, and they do not affect safety, texture once applied, or effectiveness.

13. Is it safe for children?

Not recommended for infants or children under 8 years of age. Children 8 and above should use only with adult supervision and after a patch test on a small area of skin. Always use the smallest amount necessary.

Consult a healthcare provider before use if you are pregnant, nursing, or have sensitive skin conditions.

Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, broken skin, and mucous membranes.
